Chardonnay- Classic French vs. the “California” approach

Hello, Feastlings.

Nothing cuts through that monsoon season humidity like white wine, and more specifically like white Burgundy.  This week, Kevin pulls the corks on two white Burgundies (Chardonnays, that is,) and to give you a reference point, he pours them next to two unabashedly Californian Chardonnays.  You can taste them side by side for $10 plus tax and tip this Saturday, August 12, at 2:00 pm, and Kevin will give you all the details you’ll want about the wines.  As always, you’ll need to reserve by phone (326-9363) since web and email reservations won’t hold you a seat at the event.
