Local as a Focal Point

Dearest Feastlings,

As we run through the things for which we’re thankful this week, I’d like to add a couple to your list: first, that we live in a place that’s close to (a) wine country; second, that over the years, the people that wine country has gotten progressively better at what they do.  With that in mind, this Saturday, November 23, at 2:00, Kevin open us four wines from Arizona for your inspection.  Two whites and two reds will be poured, all four more delicious than you remember Arizona wines to be.  We do require a reservation so that we know how much food to make, and we don’t take them by web or email for our special events, so you’ll want to call us at 326-9363 if you want us to save you a seat.  You’ll also need to bring $12.50 plus tax and tip, and maybe some spending money in case you want to buy any of the wines, which will be offered at a discount to attendees.  Come visit.
