Wine Dinner with Andrew Januik of Januik, Andrew Januik and Novelty Hill

Dear Feastlings,

Fortunately for us, the winter weather here in Tucson is way more pleasant than the winter weather in Washington State.  Why do we regard it as good fortune? Partly because it’s sunny and pleasant, but also because it gives impetus for people like Andrew Januik to get out of the chilly, blustery discomfort of the Pacific Northwest and head for sunny Tucson.  Andrew, as it happens, is a pivotal part of three wineries in Washington- Novelty Hill, Januik and Andrew Januik.  Apart from the eponymous bit, Andrew cut his teeth on winemaking as a wee one and has been at it ever since.  The wines, many of you know from experience, are delicious.  And we’ve taken it upon ourselves to welcome Andrew with pairings for four of his wines, three of which don’t normally even come into Arizona, so Tuesday, February 25th is your chance to taste some exclusive juice with the man responsible for it.  Eighty dollars plus tax and tip gets you a four-course dinner with these hard-to-find wines and an evening of stories and expertise from Andrew.  Web and email reservations don’t work on our special events, so if you want to join us- dinner begins at 6:30- give us a call at 326-9363 and we’ll hold a seat for you.
