We know that South by Southwest was shut down in Austin in the early days of the US leg of the COVID-19 World Tour, but we’re ready after a very bumpy foray into long-distance food delivery to try offering it up again to Tucson’s East and Northeast neighborhoods. Here’s how it will work: You’ll call us on Wednesday, April 1 (PLEASE, I don’t think anyone’s up for April Fools Day jokes this year) for delivery to either your home ($10 delivery charge) or to one of four delivery hubs ($5 gas surcharge.) The food will all be cold, meant for you to heat up and enjoy at your convenience, so there are some dishes we wouldn’t recommend for that- the koji-rubbed chicken, for example, or the fish.
You’ll call us on Wednesday with your order to pick up on Thursday the 2nd at one of these hubs, or to be delivered to your home. While we feel confident we can have all the food to you by 5 or 6 pm on Thursday, we have no guess as to how many of you will be ordering, so please regard this as food meant to be enjoyed somewhere down the line, but not at a specific time on Thursday. You’ll give us your order, your phone number, your credit card number, and, if you’re picking up at a hub, and the color, make and model of the vehicle you’ll be arriving in, and the driver will give you your food. If the food is coming to your home, the driver will call you with an ETA before he or she arrives at your house. We think we’ve got a better system this time, and we’ll constantly be tinkering with it to improve our service.

Again, if the hubs are inconvenient for you, or if you feel uncomfortable traveling to a hub, we’re happy to deliver to your home as well. Give us a call at 326-9363 on Wednesday the 1st before 7:30 pm.
