Short and sweet. And savory.

Good day, Feastlings,
Many of you are reading this only for this important secret code, and the code is this: 360862. that’s the code that will enable you to join us in a few hours’ time, vials of wine in hand, for our Lighten Up tasting of light reds. there’s still time to order samples, pick them up and scramble back to your screen to join us if you like. The info about the tasting is here:

Lighten up.

You can also get the jump today on ordering for Rosh Hashana, if that’s your bag, and even if it’s not, you can enjoy matzo ball soup regardless of your cultural heritage. You’ve got a good solid week and a half to consult and plan, but let’s start kicking off that new year.

We’re also continuing on with our donation runs to hospital crews-

Keeping the meals coming for important, exhausted members of our community

and with our newfound affection for baking. Scones are going into the oven as we speak, and bread isn’t far behind. So whether you’re in the mood for something sweet (a rum baba or a slice of walnut-halvah cake) or you’d prefer something savory (roasted garlic-Parmesan levain) or a little bit of each (a bacon-date scone,) it can be yours this afternoon. The link to the menu resides here.

And the number to call is 326-9363. More soon about delivery hubs and other events, but in the meantime, I’d be happy with a scone, myself.

Your friend,
Doug
