Dearest Feastlings,
What with it being the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and all, and it having been a particularly dismal year, we thought we’d pull out all the stops for our Last Sunday tasting this month. Many of you have already come to know our friend Joanie Karapetian of Rosenthal, and those who haven’t are in for a quintuple treat: Joanie herself has a serious knowledge of these wines, and of French and Italian wines in particular. We thought we’d take a little trip around France and open some special bottles- some of our personal favorites around here- and we will, as we invariably do for the last Sunday of the month, pair them with tasty foods that are meant to showcase the wines, and the wines to showcase the foods in a culinary act of symbiosis. The tasting itself is the customary $35 plus tax and tip, and we’re delighted to kick things off at 3:30 on Sunday the 27th so that the tasting may segue for you into what in pandemic times is no longer considered an early supper. Come hang out with Joanie and Doug, learn a little something about food and wine, enjoy a tasty afternoon and recover from Christmas.
the tasting begins at 3:30 pm on Sunday, December 27, and the zoome meeting number is 846 3797 2281 and the passcode is 584466.
You can find the pricing and tasting order here.
