Hello, Feastlings,
You’re all aware that we’re quite near the Mexican border, and, as such, the country on either side of border is, nolens volens, influenced by the other. We’re awash in Sonoran food and Mexican language and music, and American pop culture spreads ferociously southward. it turns out that’s not a phenomenon unique to us.
This week, we’ll taste, yes, a German wine, but also wines from Alsace, right across the river from Germany, and from Alto Adige, also known (in Alto Adige) as Südtirol. Taste the influence that German winemaking has had on surrounding territories this Saturday, February 6, when we pull the corks on four Teutonic treats. The tasting costs only $12.50 plus tax and tip, and begins at 2:00 pm. You can reserve your set of samples by calling us at 326-9363. Give us a buzz.
The zoom tasting begins at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6th, and the meeting number is 852 2555 8977, and the passcode is 482130.
You can see the tasting order and the pricing here.
