We’re baa-aack…

Dear Feastlings,
If you’ve been reading any of the recent emails and made it through them in their entirety- a tall order, I know- you know that we’re creeping toward normalcy around here. while we never ended up closing completely, it’s been strictly takeout until this past week, and we’re grateful to those of you who’ve been in since we’ve partially opened the dining room. Yes, we’re only seating from 4 pm to 8 pm, and with six feet between guests at table, and at the bar as well, so if you’re thinking of joining us, even with so many of you running off to more northerly spots for the summer months, we do fill up more quickly than we had- seating capacity is essentially cut in half at this point, and will remain so until the Pima County Health Department recommends otherwise. We’ll continue with their recommended mask protocol as well, i.e. masks when you’re mobile.

With all the welcoming back, Kevin thought it best to have a Welcome Back tasting today (and there’s still time to pick up samples if you’d like to join us)- wines we’ve poured here before that have made a triumphant return. the tasting looks like this:

Welcome back!

and the Zoom meeting looks like this:

I’ll toss in a link here to the menu as well, in case you choose to pick up a snack to accompany your tasting,

and one to next week’s donation run to the staff AND residents of COPE’s six residential facilities, plus the staff at the Treatment Clinic on 5th and Craycroft.

The staff and residents both, at COPE

I’m proud to say that this delivery will take us past the 7,500-donated-meal mark, and as much as they’ll be grateful next Friday for the meals you donate, we at Feast are fairly brimming with gratitude ourselves, as your donations help us keep our light on, both Feast’s and those of nearly fifty people’s homes (our catering staff has started working again, too!)

So we thank you, and we look forward to seeing you this afternoon on the screen, or this evening in the dining room, or one of many future visits, day and night, that we’ll eventually be able to offer you when the staffing shortage abates and the Health Department recommends another shift toward normalcy. Have a great day.

Love,

All of us at Feast
