What better way to celebrate Halloween than a tasting that defines terror? Or at least one that differentiates it from terroir? Terroir, for the uninitiated, is the wine term describing what the place the wine comes from imparts to the wine itself. A Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles will taste completely different from on that hails from the Left Bank in Bordeaux, regardless of the fact that it’s the same grape. It could even be the same clone of the same grape and still taste wildly different. This month, we’ll taste four wines that shout from the rooftops where it is they hail from, and we’ll have a food pairing with each wine besides. For $35 plus tax and tip, you’ll get four generous pours, one of each of the wines, and you’ll get the custom-tailored snacks that accompany each one, plus the educational foray into each of the wines.
