Dear Feastlings,
I know we’ve already bypassed Indpendence Day, but while it’s still fresh in our minds, we thought this month we’d visit small, independent wineries. Since we’ve tasted our way through so many independent domestic wineries with our friend Megan already, and since America is something of a melting pot already, this month we’ll taste wine from curiously and fiercely independent wineries from elsewhere. You’ve tasted the factory-farmed wines before; you’ve regretted the bottle from the bazillion-case-a-year winery that those friends brought to your dinner party and you felt obligated to open it and drink it alongside them. This Saturday, though, at 2:00, for the reasonable price of $15 plus tax and tip, you’ll taste splashes from people and land who offer you their earnest expression of people and land. And fruit, obviously.
Give us a jingle at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll happily save a seat at the table for you to taste and enjoy some wines that not only express a spirit of independence and individuality, but which also happen to be really good summertime drinking as well.
