Another round of Spanish wines

Dear Feastlings,

With the kindling already scavenged for the Bonfires of San Juan, we’re into our second week of previews of the wines of Spain.  This week we’ll taste new vintages of some old favorites, with a new friend from an old distributorship.  Our new pal Katie from Classico joins us this Saturday, June 8, at 2:00 pm with four Spanish treats on the table, and you’re sure to find something you adore.

Give us a call at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll set you up with a glass, four wines, and some friends and acquaintances who share your interest in wine.  You can practice drinking Spanish wine for the big day on June 25th (yes, we know that the solstice happens before then, but we can have adequate time to prepare if we do it on Tuesday.)  We’ll be offering a bunch of Spanish dishes, mostly little tapas so you can have more tastes, and every Spanish wine on the list can be had at retail price rather than the normal restaurant markup.  More to come on that, but in the meanwhile, if you want to hang out with us and Katie this Saturday, give a call, and show up with $18 plus tax and tip.  See you then.
