Dear Feastlings,
No one was ever fond of the Spanish Flu, and Spanish Fly, the Rohypnol of the sixties and seventies, certainly makes it only popular among the morally reprehensible of the era. I’ve always had a fondness for Spanish Flea, the song written by the husband and wife team of Julius and Cissy Wechter, but made famous by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Still, my absolute favorite? Spanish Flow. This Saturday, October 26, the Spanish wines will be flowing copiously, and we’ll have made some delicious food pairings to accompany them, and, what’s more, it’ll all be curated by your friends at Feast working with your friend Jennifer, who works hard to get these wines distributed amongst deserving Tucsonans.
If you feel deserving, or even if you just feel like a treat, my advice to you is this:
- Call us at (520) 326-9363 and reserve a seat at the tasting;
- Come to Feast at 2:00 pm on Saturday the 26th;
- Bring with you $45, tax, tip, and a penchant for good wine and food;
- Be ready to enjoy and learn about Spanish wine.
