Now comes the stressful bit.

Dear Feastlings,

I had every intention of getting out a big long email this week, but fate conspires to keep me otherwise occupied. I’d love to show you the pages of our purveyors’ websites, peppered with out-of-stock messages or spiking egg and dairy prices, but I figure I wallow enough in it without dragging you down as well. Instead, I’ll just dash off this note to tell you that we have one last Thanksgiving themed wine tasting tomorrow,

and one day left to order what you will for pickup the day before Thanksgiving,

And then I intend to run around to I don’t know how many grocery stores to pick up the items we’ll undoubtedly be shorted on tomorrow’s orders. Then next week I can focus on trying to get a December menu written, prepped, posted and printed in the two days that follow Thanksgiving, whereupon I intend to have my own shot at thankfulness.

Time for a quick coffee to get me through the dinner rush, and then a whole lot of turkey.
