Dear Feastlings,
As much as I love the giving spirit of Tucson, I do find myself a bit beaten down that all that philanthropy seems to fall within a couple of weeks each April and a couple more each October. Sunday’s trip to the Taste of Chocolate felt good in that the Rotary Club drummed up a fair bit of cash to fund Tucson educators and educatees, and today promises to be quite busy with people dining out and supporting the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault during Dine Out for Safety,
and I was just at the Midtown Farm this morning to pick up goat legs and pick a few fig leaves for the benefit dinner we’re doing with Flowers and Bullets this Saturday.

Accomplishing all of this as we prepare to open an extra day for Easter, however,
and put together our weekly wine tasting,
begins to pose a challenge. Mind you, our staff has restrengthened a bit since last year’s early Easter, but I’m usually foolish enough to bite off rather more than I can chew, so here’s quick email to let you know what’s going on this week, and with any luck, we’ll recover on Easter Monday. We’ll be happy to see you at any or all of the aforementioned events, or just at your leisure, and grateful for your support.
Thanks so much, and Happy Whatever You Celebrate.
Love,
the people of Feast
