You can turn September 11th into a happy and productive day and contribute to your community, plus maybe learn a little something, all by coming to the extra wine tasting we’re having this month. It will take place on Sunday, September 11th at 3:30 pm. The cost is $45, with the proceeds benefiting the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network. If you’d like to join us, please call us at 326-9363 to claim your spot, but bring cash or your checkbook, as you won’t be paying Feast; you’ll be paying TIHAN.
As for the tasting, it won’t be our normal format. Rather than six snacks paired with six wines, we’ll be offering six varietally correct wines, and we’ll taste them with sweet, salty, bitter and sour flavors, and we’ll talk about umami as well. We’ll learn what flavors in food accentuate what flavors in wine, and vice versa. It will be a good time, an enlightening experience, and will benefit a good cause. What’s more, the wines will be available for purchase, with still more proceeds going to the Tucson Interfaith HIV/AIDS Network.
