The whites you might not know

Hello, Feastlings.

As our winter friends begin to drift back to their summer haunts and the day gets a teensy bit warmer, our thoughts turn to white wines- a little cleaner and lighter, a little lower alcohol so we can maybe have that afternoon glass when the thermometer hits 80° and not doze off before dinner’s on the table.  And while Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are stalwart varietals that will surely get us through the summer, it’s sometimes nice to have an alternative in the fridge.  This Saturday, Kevin introduces us to some white wines we may not know, and reintroduces us to some of his old favorites as well.  Come join us this Saturday, April 7th, at 2:00 pm and taste some refreshing whites from across the Mediterranean that certainly deserve a spot in your refrigerator this summer.  The tasting is, as usual, $10 plus tax and tip, and comes with light snacks, a discount on the wines, and an afternoon of the inimitable Kevin, who’ll fill you in on what makes these wines special.  If you’d like to join us, please recall that web and email reservations won’t hold you a spot, so you’ll need to call us at 326-9363 to make a reservation.
