Dear Feastlings,
Once in a while we find a winery that offers solid value across the board: Pinot Noir that tastes like Pinot Noir for $15? Can’t beat it with a stick. It turns out that Fable makes a Chardonnay, a Pinot Noir and a Cabernet Sauvignon, all of which are varietally correct, and all of which are affordably priced. This week, Kevin returns to offer you all three, as well as a Cabernet from the Fableist (no relation, but also delicious, reasonably priced Cabernet Sauvignon.) The tasting will be just like old times: Kevin will be back and chatty, the wines will be tasty, there’ll be snacks to enjoy alongside the wine, and it’ll cost $12.50 plus tax and tip. Also, just like old times, you’ll need to make a reservation, and you’ll need to do it by phone (326-9363) since web and email reservations won’t hold you a seat at the tasting. And lastly, just like old times, the name of the tasting is a pun that is a desperate cry for help.
