St. Patrick’s Day

Hello there, Feastlings.

Can you call one dish a menu?  If you can, than we have two menus on Saint Patrick’s Day: corned beef and cabbage, and our regular menu.  The beef’s been sitting quietly in our walk-in refrigerator, brisket upon brisket, corning itself into deliciousness without any nitrates or saltpeter, so when you come in and the beef is brown and tender instead of red and rubbery, just know that that’s how it was intended.

While you can’t attend a parade on Tuesday, you can certainly join us for dinner, and you can do it here or elsewhere.  For those of you uncomfortable with the idea of dining elbow-to-elbow with others who may or may not have recently traveled to a virus-laden hotspot, there’ll be corned beef and cabbage to take home as well.  And for those of you with an eye to the future, we’ll have cryovac packages of the stuff that you can keep in the fridge or freezer for an extended period of time, in case you need something tasty to help get you through the End Times.  Whatever your thoughts or your situation, your food’s been prepared by healthy people who’ve been washing and sanitizing their hands and their kitchen, wearing gloves and steering clear of others since before the CDC recommended it.  So if you want to celebrate your favorite fifth-century snake removal expert, we’re here to help.  Here’s hoping you can feel celebratory wherever you are. Happy St. Patty’s Day.
