Here and there. And way over there.

Hello, Feastlings,

Next Tuesday, August 11, marks our next front line worker deliver run, and the one that puts us over 3,000 meals donated since we started doing this.  We’ve brought meals to staff at TMC, Banner University, Banner South, St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s, the VA Hospital, a number of El Rio clinics, no small amount of animal shelters, and to Rural Metro and Rincon Valley firefighters, and this week brings us to Diamond Children’s Medical center and four Diamond Children’s clinics as well.

It’s in huge part through your kindness and generosity that we do this,  Once we’ve raised enough to cover the costs of 257 meals, we’ll donate an additional 50 to the cause, and any overage will be applied to the next donation delivery run we make.  We’ll be feeding all shifts at the four clinics- Cholla Pediatric, Banner Pediatric Northwest Specialty Center, the Angel Clinic for Diabetes and Endocrinology, and the Multi-specialty Center- and the Medical Center itself.  If you’d like to donate a meal, here’s what we’ll be offering that day, and every little bit helps, so if you want to donate a meal, great, but if you want to donate $5, that’s great too.  It all adds up, and if there’s anything we’ve learned during this pandemic, it’s that a community working together can accomplish great things, even if it’s built up from bits and pieces.  Even a cookie will make the day of a frazzled health care worker.  Specifically, here’s who we’ll be feeding, and how many in each clinic or department:

– Banner Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic:  20

– Diamond Children’s Medical Center:

Day Shift:   D5/D6W/D6N / NICU:     71

Night Shift:  D5/D6W/D6N / NICU:    71

–  Banner Diamond Children’s Multi-Specialty Center:  96

– Banner Angel Clinic for Diabetes & Endocrinology:  13

– Banner Cholla Pediatrics:   26

– Banner Northwest Pediatric Specialty Center:   10
