Our next donation run- Youth on Their Own

Dear Feastlings,

By now, you likely know that one of the ways we’ve tried to keep our doors open is to convince our friends in the community to donate food to some of our other friends in the community, and to do it through Feast.  Over the course of the pandemic, we’ve fed 4,774 people with your donations and ours (for every 250 meals you donate, we donate another 50,) and we intend to keep handing out meals to people who need them, whether it be for the meal itself or the kindness, warmth and recognition it stands for.  Our next donations are a combination of the two: we’ll be bringing Thanksgiving meals to the people who rely on Youth on Their Own- these are young people experiencing homelessness who are making their best effort to finish school and get themselves on track to a more stable life.  If you want to know more about Youth on Their Own, you can find it here:

And if you want to donate Thanksgiving food to someone who could really use it on numerous levels, you’re more than welcome to contribute whatever amount you’d like toward a meal that will help someone who’s more isolated than ever right now and would love to feel like a part of something.  You can send or drop off a check, or cash, or you can call us at 326-9363 and we can take your donation over the phone.  You’ll be helping keep the staff of Feast employed as you help some young people who are going through a very difficult time.
