Dear Feastlings,
Yes, I recall. Last month’s Last Sunday tasting was chockablock with Island wines- Sicily, the Canary Islands, Corsica- and they all brought their briny goodness to the glass. Why, then, are we pouring coastal wines for this month’s Last Sunday tasting? Quite frankly, there were too many contenders last month. Sardinia didn’t even get a crack at it, nor Greece, so we’ve thrown their hats into the ring, and supplemented with a couple of other coastal treats as well. So, um, yeah. If you didn’t like that maritime influence, I’ve got some bad news for you. And if you did? You’re about to swim in good fortune and seawater. The tasting is $35 plus tax and tip, the wines will be paired with matched snacks, and it begins at 3:30 on Sunday the 27th.
The tasting begins on zoom at 3:30 pm on Sunday, june 27. The Zoom meeting number for the tasting is 860 4154 3202, and the passcode is 481759.
