It’s not unusual, but it’s not usual either.

Dear Feastlings,

We all come to expect certain combinations in our blended wines- Cabernet Sauvignon gets blended with Merlot and Cabernet Franc; Grenache is blended with Syrah and Mourvedre- but the smaller the world gets, the more we let one culture influence another, and the more we shed our preconceived notions and decide there’s no harm in putting a little Roussanne in one’s Picpoul, or some Chardonnay in with that Zinfandel.  We know.  Its sounds weird, but so does the menu at Feast as often as not, and you still eat here.  So join us this Saturday with our friend Megan when we’ll taste four California wines that buck tradition and blend some varietals heretofore untested.  And they actually succeed, or at least we think they do.  But find out for yourself.  Here’s how:

  1. Give us a call at (520) 326-9363 and make a reservation;
  2. Show up at Feast on Saturday the 3rd at 2:00 pm with $15 plus tax and tip burning a hole in your pocket;
  3. Taste, smell, listen and learn;
  4. Head home having had an excellent time, perhaps with a bottle of something you enjoyed tucked under your arm.

You can see the prices and the tasting order here.
