There’s more to Alto Adige than Pinot Grigio

Dear Feastlings,

Alto Adige is indisputably a giant in the production of Pinot Grigio.  Those steep-slanting mountainsides impart a minerality and the dizzying heights and chilly evenings build a brisk acidity that make it prime territory for Pinot Grigio.  That said, we thought it might be nice to familiarize everyone with some of the varietals of Alto Adige that get a bit less press, and who better to talk about it with than our pal Jennifer, fresh from- you guessed it- Alto Adige.

This Saturday, August 3rd, at 2:00 pm, for a mere $18 plus tax and tip, you’ll taste your way across cool mountainsides and realize that while Sangiovese reigns supreme in Tuscany, and Nebbiolo in Piedmont, there’s plenty more to be discovered than Pinot Grigio in Alto Adige.  Give us a call at (520) 326-9363 and we’ll happily save you a seat at the tasting.

So much more than Pinot Grigio
