Hello, Feastlings,
We’re rolling up our sleeves to put out a bunch of Italian food and wine on Ferragosto, but that all happens on Thursday. By Saturday, August 17th, it’ll be behind us, and we’ll be looking again to places besides Italy for our weekly wine tasting. This week, our pal Emilie returns for wines that represent a startlingly good value, from France.
Pomerol? Expect to pay somewhere from $50 up to a few thousand. Lalande-de-Pomerol, its next door neighbor? The one we’re tasting Saturday normally comes in around $30ish, and we scooped up a deal at $23 a bottle. If you join us for this Saturday’s tasting at 2:00 pm, you’ll find that tasty treat as well as another red, a pink, and a white, plus the usual wit and ribaldry that make our Saturday tastings a treat to attend.
If you’d like to be a part of it all, give us a ring at (520) 326-9363 and let us save you a seat at the table(s.) It’s only $18 plus tax and tip, and will be every bit as enjoyable as our tastings have historically proven to be.
