Dear Feastlings,
Your politics are your own, and agree or not, I make no judgement about you as a person based solely upon your vote. But as we ready ourselves for a new administration, a guy in the food and wine biz remembers with no small degree of PTSD what the incoming administration did with tariffs last time around, and what that did to wine prices. So this month, we thought we’d pick four foreign wines that were already stateside and therefore not subject to upcoming tariffs. So get ’em while you can get ’em at this price, I suppose.
This Saturday, our friend Bryan is covering for our mother-to-be friend Jennifer to talk with us about four wines that we think are exceptionally good, and that have slipped under the closing door of import tariffs before they could have a substantial percentage added to them.
It being the last Saturday of the month, we’ll be pouring heavy, pairing foods, and charging accordingly. For 45 smackers plus tax and tip, you’ll get hearty pours of four wines, plus four food pairings, and a discount on the wines as well. If you’re interested in joining us, and quite a number of you already are, please call us at (520) 326-9363 and have us set a place for you at the table. The tasting begins at 2:00 pm and the wines are flipping delicious.
