Dear Feastlings,
Often, we fall into a habit. As far as the majority is concerned, when speaking of wine, Italy and Chianti are interchangeable, and Spain essentially just means Rioja to the preponderance of wine orderers. This weekend, our longtime friend Emilie joins us to chat about four wines from Spain, none of which comes from Rioja. There’ll be a crisp and vibrant white and some lush, ripe reds, and not one comes from that flagship appellation of Spain, Rioja.
You can join us for some alt.Spanish wines this Saturday, March 15, and all you need to do it make a reservation by calling (520) 326-9363, and then show up on the 15th at 2:00. You’ll need to bring $18 plus tax and tip, but you’ll want to have a little extra spending money in case you fall in love with one (or more) of Emilie’s wines. We hope you’ll be able to make it.
