Each Saturday at 2:00 pm, we open four different wines and talk about them- where they come from, who makes them, and what makes them special. A couple of light hors d’oeuvres accompany the tasting and those who attend are eligible for discounts on the wines. Reservations are required, and web and email reservations will not guarantee you a seat, to please make your reservation by calling (520) 326-9363
Dear Feastlings, Sure, it’s the end of one year, but it’s the beginning of another, so we’re starting off with some fresh new finds. This Saturday Kevin opens up some of the wines we tasted and fell in love with ourselves, and we’ve brought them in with 2016 in mind. The tasting is its customary […]
Dear Feastlings, The end of each years prompts “best of ” lists from every critic, be they critics of books, movies, music or fashion. Why not wine? This Saturday will be a reprise of the wines that people delighted in at our tastings over the course of the year, both red and white. The tasting […]
Dearest Feastlings, While I personally find sparkling wines to be a refreshing treat all year round, right now is the time of year where thoughts turn to bubbles. With New Year’s Eve fast approaching, bubbles welcome it in with a certain class and style. This Saturday, Kevin will offer up a couple of affordable sparkling […]
Sure, Feastlings, Thanksgiving is rife with Pinot Noir and Gewürztraminer. Light reds and fragrant whites are perfect for turkey. But what about when you pull out all the stops come Christmas and make a standing rib roast? You’ll need a wine that can stand up to the rich and unctuous foods you offer at your […]
Dear Feastlings, In spite of the fact that there are still a few dozen wines on sale, we’re back to our normal wine tasting schedule this weekend, which means Kevin will be pulling out some of his favorite Grenaches. The tasting is the customary Saturday tasting: ten bucks plus tax and tip; 2:00 on Saturday; […]
Dear Feastlings, We don’t pour these as often, because Pinot Noir being a pricier grape to grow, it’s necessarily a pricier wine to pour, but everyone gets so darned excited when kevin busts out the Pinot Noir. So this Saturday, our tasting, while being a pricier tasting to attend ($20 as opposed to the usual […]
Hello, Wine Tasters. This Saturday’s wine tasting features big, bountiful harvest reds from all over the world. Sure, Pinot Noir may be just the ticket for Thanksgiving, but as the weather cools off and we eat heartier fare, these wines are perfect for everything from pizza to beef stew to the cheese platter at your […]
Dear Feastlings, Kevin is back in the saddle this Saturday with four pink wines that have Thanksgiving written all over them (one of them even has bubbles in it!) Whether it’s turkey you’re serving, or scads of hors d’oeuvres, these wines are perfect for entertaining friends, family- even the people you grudgingly invite out of […]
Hello, Feastlings. Kevin’s taking a breather this Saturday, so Doug will be waxing rhapsodic about the wines that are dear to his heart: four wines from Italy (three reds and a white that even red-drinkers will adore.) We’ll be following our normal protocols: the tasting is this Saturday, October 31, at 2:00 pm, it’s ten […]
Dear Feastlings, Though the past two days have been no indication, our meteorologist friends are predicting that by this Saturday’s wine tasting, temperatures will bounce back into the high 80’s and sunshine will abound. With this in mind, Kevin’s got crisp, clean whites out once more for your tasting pleasure. The tasting is this Saturday, […]
