The new year finally beings

Dear Feastlings,
Though January 1 was six days ago, I’d like to believe that the new year hasn’t really begun until now. Last week featured a kitchen at Feast that flooded, twice, the recovery from our New Year’s Eve menu and a host of minor trials and tribulations that make us at Feast prefer to regard New Menu Day as the beginning of the new year. Nay, the new decade.
And let’s hope for a better decade in the 20’s than the teens brought us. As for us, we’re kicking off the decade with our good luck charm: the lobster, corn and scallion bread pudding is back for its winter stint on the menu, and we know that a great many of you will be happy to see its return. We’re excited about the other, newer dishes as well: sweetbreads with carrot risotto, a Sloppy Mo’ (you’ll have to look at the menu to find out what that means,) a shellfish extravaganza and a couple of new desserts all peek out of the new menu starting today, and you can find them all here.

The new decade doesn’t stop us from our old rituals, however. There’s still a wine tasting this Saturday, January 11, and the details about its Italian goodness can be found here.

We humbly suggest making a reservation before it fills up. Here’s hoping your 2020 outshines your 2019, and here’s thanking you for accompanying us through nearly two decades already. Have a stellar year.
Love,
Your friends at Feast
