What’s ready and what’s not. And who’s not.

Dearest Feastlings,
I go into each Tuesday morning, which is my Monday morning, with the best of intentions. Today I was meant to have posted the Valentine’s Day menu so you could make your plans for the big day, As it happens, since the Valentine’s Day menu will have not only a special prix fixe portion of the menu, but dishes from the regular February menu as well, I apparently need to write the February menu in order to finish it. So there it is. I know the idiot who decided to change the menu at Feast each month, and each month for the past 226 months, I have a little bit less respect for him. As soon as I’ve written the February menu, then, I’ll finish the Valentine’s Day menu as well, and post it on the website, and send you all a wee missive to tell you about it. In the meantime, I do still have a little something to tell you about, which is this Saturday’s wine tasting, a side-by-side investigation of Burgundies and their California counterparts. It’s $12.50 plus tax and tip to join us, and happens this Saturday, January 25, at 2:00.
The details are here.

Come check it out, and maybe have a lobster bread pudding afterward. We’d love to see you.

Your buddy,

Doug
