No joke

Dear Feastlings,
After a few days of relentless prattle, I feel, as you likely do, that it’s a good day to take a break. But I did want to remind you, in spite of the fact that I’ve been doing so for days, that today is you last chance to sign up with Child and Family Resources to attend next Thursday’s Zoom tasting. Once again, here’s that link:

Feast for Families

Hot on it heels, I’ll be headed to the Primavera Men’s Shelter with four days’ worth of meals for them, and we’re still gratefully accepting contributions toward that, and reminding you- and ourselves- that your generous contributions will not only feed someone experiencing homelessness but will help keep the crew here employed. So thanks for that twice over.

Hot meals for those experiencing cold nights

There’ll still be Easter food come Sunday, the ordering cutoff date for which has already passed, but if you’re in a panic, give us a call and get yourself on a waitlist, as we’ll prepare a few extra servings, and some household will undoubtedly have two members order food for the occasion, unbeknownst to each other. We’ll also be offering the regular menu that day as well, and that looks like this:

So there you have it, short and sweet, at least relative to my usual oratory. Consider it an April Fool’s Day gift.

Thanks, sincerely,

Doug
