With the tasting a few scant hours away, I thought it best to get this note out now. Yes, there’s still time to pick up your samples if you’re joining us on a last-minute whim, and it’s an assortment of four wines from France
that are meant to get you in the mood to join us- or pick up- some traditional French fare on Wednesday, Bastille Day, when we’ll be offering up four pages of French wines on our list at retail rather than the in-house price. the menu for the day is here, and while we’re still only seating in the dining room from four to eight pm, you can pick up any of the dishes the entire time we’re open, starting at eleven.

We’re still negotiating when and where our next donation runs will be headed, but we thank you for contributions to it, and to donations past. And it’s not one of our runs, but we’re offering a special menu and donating a portion of the proceeds a week from today for the 50th anniversary of Mobile Meals of Southern Arizona, so it’s another good day to make a reservation. This one won’t travel as well, so we don’t suggest it for takeout, though if you’re feeling brave and strong, that choice is yours.
