Four horsemen

Dear Feastlings,

It’s not pestilence, war, famine and death, but I do feel like the four horsemen of the restaurant apocalypse are the pantry refrigerator, the grease trap, the vacuum packing machine and the meat grinder. At least this past week or two. I had always understood that bad things came in threes, but with the plumbing issue coming twice in two weeks, I think bad things are coming in multiples of three. At least this time it’s not happening on a Saturday when it’s after hours and the price goes up.

I write not to complain, though I acknowledge that I do indeed complain- I write to tell you that although the changes are fewer than usual this month, the menu has indeed been changed, and Feast, as it has for twenty-three and a half years, begins its new menu today, the first Tuesday of the month. We hope you’ll join us, and that you’ll put up with it when I get you the details later about this week’s wine tasting. For now, here’s the menu:

Hoping 2025 treats you, and all of us, well.

Love,

Doug
